- This presumes an entire alt.binaries.vb.* hierarchy, which hardly seems
- likely or appropriate. Single newsgroups should avoid extra levels of
- hierarchy in the name, unless there's good reason to expect companion
- newsgroups which will use those extra levels, to be created shortly
- afterwards. In this case, either alt.binaries.vb-source, or
- alt.binaries.visual-basic, would be more appropriate, since it's very
- unlikely that there would be any other alt.binaries.vb.* groups.

- However, the suggestions that "vb" or "visual-basic" would be more
- appropriate than a version-specific name are dead-on. Please drop
- the "4" from whichever form of this name you adopt, so that the name
- will not cause needless confusion among current users of earlier
- versions, not to mention future users of later versions.
